Vampire Hunting Jules Verne Style
July 10th, 2011Check out the awesome “ThirdEye” – a steam-punk styled - AR game we built for Viewdle!
To play the Android-based fantasy/medieval themed game, people hold up the app to a person’s face to determine if they are a Vampire or a Vampire Slayer. Viewdle’s facial recognition technology makes a decision, assessing your inner monster. Based on which side you’re on, you then can look for others to join your clan.
The objective of the game is to build a large army and form alliances with other players while taking out enemies.
People also join a particular warrior family or clan. Viewdle determines if there are others nearby that you can tap to join your growing clan of creatures.

Paramount is successfully using Flash Platform technologies to take its content to multiple devices with Circle of Eight, tightly integrating both the storytelling and gaming experience.
Here at Replayful we are very exited to have been chosen as the web and mobile app development team and look forward to many more awesome projects together.
‘Circle of Eight’ shows our ongoing commitment to launch studio-quality entertainment on digital platforms,” said Thomas Lesinski, president of Paramount Digital Entertainment. “With strong, mutually beneficial relationships with brands such as MySpace, Mountain Dew, Adobe and Blockbuster, we can launch premium-quality content in the digital window and continue to monetize ‘Circle of Eight’ on additional platforms, multiple windows and in international territories. PRNewswire
From Adobe’s Blog: Adobe tools and technologies were used in the majority of the workflow stages for both the filmed entertainment and interactive production, including a mobile application and gaming widget. PDE is able to deliver the multiple interactive elements of Circle of Eight to viewers across devices using Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR, because of efforts by the Open Screen Project, an industry-wide initiative led by Adobe and supported by PDE and close to 50 other industry leaders, to enable people to engage with rich Internet experiences across any device, anywhere.
