Goal World on Facebook. Go ahead, out-predict us!

June 3rd, 2010

GoalWorld Loading

South Africa 2010 World Cup’s getting closer and here at the office everyone starts predicting, speculating, guessing… We just can’t help it!

So we thought, if this is what we like to do with our friends, family and neighbors… Why not make a soccer “social” prediction game, put it up on Facebook and start playing with everybody else online?  That could be cool! And that’s how Goal World came up, mixing our love for games, soccer (hopefully Uruguay can make it far this time..) and our need to share it.

Pick the winners (and the results!) of match-ups in South Africa’s World Cup and
compare your accuracy against your friends!

See who knows best!

LaunchCode and Replayful are proud to announce the successful launch of Paramount Digital Entertainment’s Circle of Eight. Thanks the whole  team for yet another awesome deadline-touchdown crunching fun and delivering on target!

Paramount is successfully using Flash Platform technologies to take its content to multiple devices with Circle of Eight, tightly integrating both the storytelling and gaming experience.

Here at Replayful we are very exited to have been chosen as the web and mobile app development team and look forward to many more awesome projects together.

‘Circle of Eight’ shows our ongoing commitment to launch studio-quality entertainment on digital platforms,” said Thomas Lesinski, president of Paramount Digital Entertainment. “With strong, mutually beneficial relationships with brands such as MySpace, Mountain Dew, Adobe and Blockbuster, we can launch premium-quality content in the digital window and continue to monetize ‘Circle of Eight’ on additional platforms, multiple windows and in international territories. PRNewswire

From Adobe’s Blog:  Adobe tools and technologies were used in the majority of the workflow stages for both the filmed entertainment and interactive production, including a mobile application and gaming widget. PDE is able to deliver the multiple interactive elements of Circle of Eight to viewers across devices using Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR, because of efforts by the Open Screen Project, an industry-wide initiative led by Adobe and supported by PDE and close to 50 other industry leaders, to enable people to engage with rich Internet experiences across any device, anywhere.
